I’ve have had the privilege of owning Elite6 Business Networking for three and a half years. Over this time we have built a strong foundation of members who truly understand the value of having a business family, who care about each other, who can offer support and give advice to each other and build strong relationships in the process.
Personally I fell in love with Elite6 and its culture after attending Elite6 meetings in Rangiora. I had worked by myself for years so I totally valued the support and encouragement I got from like-minded businesses at the weekly meeting.
When I had the opportunity to purchase the company I jumped at it and I have never looked back. Like any business you have your trials and tribulations and this year we have had extreme lows and extreme highs, right now I honestly feel nothing can stop us!!
The new Elite6 structure has totally changed the way the company is administered and this has given me more time to focus on implementing innovative ways to help people build stronger business relationships and friendships more quickly.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the facilitators for their continued support and assistance in growing and managing Elite6 meetings it has been a real team effort.
I have some clear and exciting goals to further improve things next year, but most of it will be business as normal as we have a good formula and a steady growth rate.
One of these goals would be to have an open meeting not limited to just one of each type industry, open to all Elite6 members to attend. The purpose of this is to provide an environment were you can meet Elite6 Members from other groups.
This would also be used to introduce people to Elite6 as this would be a place were new prospective members could attend before being allocated a group of their own, also ideal if we couldn’t accommodate them immediately.
Elite6 Business Networking is a progressive and forward thinking business networking organisation that brings local businesses together each week for an hour of interactive networking and we do it well!!
If you are a former member or haven’t been to a meeting in a while it is time to return! Put Elite6 Business Networking in your schedule for next year.
For the first time in five years I am taking overseas holiday and I am lucky to be going with a friend who I meet from Elite6 five years ago!
One thing many of us fail to do as business owners is to take time out for a holiday, so make sure you get a break so you can recharge your batteries for next year because 2017 is going to be an Epic Adventure!
